Compétences & Prérequis:

Etre organisé(e), proactif(ve) et orienté(e) vers les besoins du client ;

Votre carte d'embarquement:

Une formation académique en droit de la concurrence (au minimum niveau master 1 ou équivalent en droit européen de la concurrence) ;

Une première expérience professionnelle en droit de la concurrence (pratiques anticoncurrentielles, contrôle des concentrations, aides d'Etat) serait un plus ;

Maîtrise de l'anglais courant (un niveau avancé en allemand et/ou français constituerait un atout) ;

Excellentes capacités de communication et de rédaction ;

Ouverture d'esprit, autonomie, réactivité ;

Réel esprit d'initiative et d'équipe ;

Bon esprit de synthèse.

L'ensemble des candidatures sont étudiées par un recruteur. 

Si votre candidature est validée par le recruteur vous serez invité à réaliser un entretien vidéo différé. Il sera visionné puis partagé au manager du poste si votre candidature est présélectionnée en Short List. Le manager/ tuteur organisera des entretiens/ échanges avec les candidats short listés retenus avant de sélectionner le candidat final pour cette alternance.

We are looking for an Apprentice in Competition law which will join our Competition Law team based in Toulouse, France. 

This apprenticeship will start in September / October 2024.

Tasks and responsibilities: 

Under your tutor's supervision, you will develop your skills by working in the following areas.

You will contribute to support the team advising on all Competition law related matters impacting Airbus and all its divisions (Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Defence and Space) around the world.

The team handles a wide variety of topics. The team assists the business and Legal communities in their day-to-day business for any Competition law related question, including for contemplated Mergers & Acquisitions transactions.

The team is also involved in the assessment of financing schemes for new programs from a State aid standpoint and in the implementation of the EU Foreign Subsidy Regulation.

You could provide Competition law training for business employees and the Legal community and to contribute to the drafting of all Competition law-related documentation (e.g. guidelines, digital tools).

You will also have the opportunity to broaden your skills by working, if you wish to, with the M&A, Corporate Law and Governance, Corporate Finance, Real Estate Legal teams.

Your boarding pass:

Antitrust/Competition Law academic background (minimum first year of master degree or equivalent in EU Competition Law);

A first professional experience in competition law (in particular anti-competitive practices and merger control) would be a plus;

Fluent English; Business level in German and/or French would be an asset;

Excellent communication and writing skills;

Open-minded, autonomous and responsive; 

Prompt to take initiatives and real team-player;

Ability to summarise into a legally coherent and concise way.

Our selection process:

If your application is retained by the recruiter during this first review, you will be invited to conduct a deferred video interview. This will be viewed and then shared with the manager if your application is shortlisted. 

The manager will organise interviews with the shortlisted candidates before selecting the final candidate for the apprenticeship.
